Prof. Dr. Kemal Atik was born in 1970 in Kayseri. He completed his undergraduate education in 1992 at Erciyes University, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Mechanical Engineering; He completed his master’s degree in 1995 and his doctorate in 2002. He received the title of Associate Professor in 2010 and Professor in 2015.

academic and scientific studies; It has focused on energy systems, renewable energy sources, air conditioning and cooling technologies, digital analysis and artificial neural networks. Having many scientific articles and papers at national and international level, Prof. Dr. ATIK is known for its expertise in solar energy and energy efficiency.

In 2011, he was a researcher at the University of Applied Sciences Stuttgart – Center for Sustainable Energy Technology in Germany; He worked on solar-powered cooling systems and building energy simulation software. He has worked as an executive and researcher in many projects supported by TÜBİTAK and the European Union.

A member of TMMOB Chamber of Mechanical Engineers, Prof. Dr. ATİK has been deemed worthy of various awards within the scope of TÜBİTAK International Scientific Incentive Program. He has moderate competence in English and German languages.
